Why is Math difficult for some people and not for others?
I'm planning on going back to school at 21, just got my GED, and will enroll in some classes at my local community college since I have nothing to do now that I'm doing good financially.
I've always done good in school except for math, and not even because I was bad at it, I just slept through most of my classes, especially math, so I can't even say I didn't understood the subject because I never paid attention to begin with.
So now I want to learn, but where do I begin? I want to start from zero, read everything there is to read about math and slowly build my knowledge of it, but in what order? I've been obsessed with this lately, I want to master mathematics, I don't care if I have to be studying all day 7 days a week.
Thanfully I have a relative who was a math professor (now retired) at a well known university here in the US who says he'll teach me everything, but he's on a world round trip and won't be here until May, so in the meantime I want to start somewhere.
