Reaction times are correlated with IQ, but does training reaction times improve IQ? It's hard to imagine it would transfer to other activities. I vaguely remember a study that examined precisely that and came up negative. You might be practicing that particular skill, but I don't think it will make you better at anything else, anything useful (unless you can make a living with the game, which would be useful, I guess).
There were some competing claims about how much you can change IQ. If you really want to change just IQ, on paper, there is some re-testing effect.

I don't think any of that will make you more intelligent, though, particularly the more g-loaded an activity is. The more g-loaded an activity, the less effect re-testing had, too.
If you are doing some activity in hopes of being more intelligent to perform better at yet another activity, I would rather just practice the activities you ultimately want to be good at, if I didn't misunderstand.
