This is what I don't get about why this board hates comp sci. So much of it is just a branch of maths, a topic this board loves. But when it's maths related to computation they flip out and bend over backwards to lie to themselves that it's just for brainlets, why is it so offensive? The whole separation between the field of Science & Math is a big joke, it's unironically a social construct.
Pure math, theoretical physics, computer science, it's all just currents of interests of math departments
