What do I need to know to make my basic DAW and basic synth inside off it?

I want to make a DAW where I can input every note individually it's hz.

My good god yes. Why can't I easily tune individual notes yet? Why can't I easily deployed custom microtuned scales? If anyone can help us out here I would be much obliged

Check out Pure Data, visual programming language that you can do music stuff with. If you want full control its pretty fun. The signals are all numbers and you literally type in math formulas to control them.

Pretty good tutorials also. I was able to make some synths, step sequencer, reverb, delay, and more stuff.

In my experience this approach is not powerful. You spend a lot of time reinventing the wheel. What is needed is the full functionality of a mature DAW but with powerful microtinal control
