Is a firecracker proof higher spatial dimensions don't exist?

If we lived in a 4d or higher reality, when a firecracker goes off wouldn't some molecules be propelled on the w-axis. Thus causing an apparent drop in total mass after the explosion?

But what is special about the 3 dimensions we exist in. On ignition the firecracker should be pushing with equal force on all axes.

Imagine an empty R^3 universe only containing a 2 dimensional firework. Now visualize all the molecules are perfectly aligned in a plane. For simplicity assume all molecules are 0 dimensional points. Now on ignition all particles will be pushing against each other. There is no motion in the z axis at all, because all the forces are contained with the plane of the firework.

If a train was only allowed to move in a straight line, they would never experience the other 2 dimensions and quite literally think the world is 1D.

extra dimensions are known to be "special" no one actually thinks there's an ordinary 4th spatial dimension. when physicists talk about extra dimensions, they're talking about special mathematical objects, like looped extremely tiny dimensions that cannot be accessed except when it affects physical laws.

like i said, they're mostly mathematical constructs. as long as these constructs obey certain rules like orthogonality and independence, they're a dimension. take a ring for example. you can identify each point on a ring with a single coordinate (in this case an angle basically), yet you can make the ring arbitrarily small in radius and not change the ringed dimension in any way.

we observe that there are no averaged sized extra dimensions. there are possibilities of large scale extra-dimensions, that's for astrophysics to figure out, and there's also possibility for extremely small extra dimensions, which would create huge ramifications for particle physics since smaller scale = greater energy scale = unknown physics.

Think about a 2D animation with a bomb and an object next to it. Because they are on the same plane, the bomb can only push it to the side or up/down. The only way for it to push it into the 3rd dimension, forward/backwards, is if the bomb is placed in front of or behind the object. But if you do that you're already in 3 dimensions.

You're right OP. We would observe energy/momentum going off, violating conservation laws. Hence, the only way extra dimension are possible is small circular ones, that bring the lost quantity back.
