I was supposed to find an error in a simulation of particle decay and what they did was hard-code cross-sections in a table. Including zeros. So when dividing by these values obviously the program would fail.
Also, the French employees in the cafeteria were highly unfriendly. You do get to hang out with a few interesting scientists though. When I was there, Hawking held a lecture. Spare time activities are also cool.
Wouldn't wanna work there again though.
