It's not a big leap from learning to creating. In fact it is conceivable that a machine that can process multiple variables can code better than a person, in effect AIs creating new AIs. Indeed, AI-assisted coding already is a thing in the financial sector.
I predict we may have our first truly creative AIs operating in the financial sector in ~15 years.
