I'm starting to see most scientists as literal drones and fairy tail believers that are no different than religious people. They don't seem to care about our most important feature, our intelligence. I'm starting to find some things by myself that could make changes yet nobody ever talks sincerely about it. I'm becoming more solipsistic everyday and realize that most people simply don't deserve to be better and change themselves.

Because, you can't. All that you can do is realized your max potential by removing roadblocks to it. Some of those road blocks were put in place before you were born (extreme stresses or disease suffered by a parent, parental drug abuse), parent suffering disease/abused drugs during pregnancy, or done to you as a child (circumcision/extreme stress, umbilical cord clamping, malnutrition/not being breast fed until 5yo, childhood diseases, drug abuse, etc). The rest are being done to you now (poor diet, drug abuse, lack of exercise, lack of healthy sexual relationship, lack of healthy social status, etc.) If you could magically fix all of that, you'd finally be merely at your baseline intelligence. You'd never get more intelligent than that, but you'd be a lot more intelligent than you are right now.

Instead of using the term, "increasing intelligence," you can more correctly say, "reaching your max baseline intelligence."

Do you mean knowledge? you increase that everyday almost unavoidably
Do you mean spatial reasoning, problem solving, and reaction time? there is evidence that, just like a muscle, you can train those things too (it's very hard and takes a very long time tho)
Do you mean creativity? that, too, can be trained with repeated use and atrophy without it

So, the simple answer is that we don't know for sure, primarily because what actually constitutes intelligence is still largely a mystery to us

I mean, have we in any way made a computer that thinks like us? No? so how can we possibly claim to know for certain what the parameters of our own intelligence truly are?

The most meaningful aspect of OP's question is related to increasing intelligence in an unbounded fashion - most people are really not that far from their genetic potential for cognitive ability, the loss from sleep, bad diet, lack of exercise etc just isn't that large or meaningful. the gains most people will get from sleeping and not being stressed out are just not that great - you are not going to get meaningfully "smarter", ie see improvements in the physical correlates of intelligence such as nerve conduction velocity, total neuron count, cortical thickness, neural network integrity, blah blah blah by lifestyle changes. It's a hard limit set by your genes and random events which occurred in very early development, ie as a fetus. That's the harsh truth.

Our current understanding of the brain is infantile, at best

It is a sad reflection that science (the realm of questioning and investigating our reality) is so prone to learning something new and then acting like there is nothing else to learn in that field
Remember, it was also a "harsh truth" that Einstein was full of shit and our understanding of physics was great

it seems that only two things matter to performance: innate intelligence/talents and the number of hours put in.

what do you mean with this? of course the brain is plastic enough that we can learn things are 25. we've known that for a long time. but we also know that learning things after 25 is going to be worse and slower.
