I'm personally looking forward to some public knowledge graph project (or at least not IP by google or the big 4 that we can't peek into) and, in connection with that, augmented reality (also under the premise that it's not just google handing out vision space to advertisers).
E.g. you look at a tree and it shows you the species as annotation. Or you look at a car on a street and it tells you its current speed. Stuff like that.
