I've been trying to determine the name of a phenomenon that I've experienced ever since I was a kid. I am able to at will feel like the room is tilting forward or tilting backwards. After doing some research, the best description I can find is of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, however the fact that I can control the feeling makes me think otherwise. I would really like to figure out if there's a more specific name for the feeling, if any of you experience the same, and am willing to answer any questions about it.
