Given that overpopulation is projected to be a major problem in the world, are there more useful things to do with corpses, other than burn them, or bury them? Could future power generation use bodies to make electricity?

I mean they in the UK, they already have installed a turbine in a crematorium, to utilize waste heat from the process. Some landfills, extract methane from decomposing organic matter, for productive uses. Is it really that far fetched?
