What are the current state of the art methods for ranking/sorting and overall quantifying subjective things?
My ideas right now are conventional sorting algorithms(quicksort, mergesort, etc) or things like elo rating, but I'm sure theres more directed research on this, I just don't know what is the keywords for me to look for.
