>>11237737Here's the thing. the amount of time it takes to spread a hypothetical all consuming "Borg" culture would take long to spread, solidify and cement. Long enough to spread that the initial developers of that Borg culture would change and the people who are the receivers of that culture would once again fall behind and have to adapt.
Yes we have modern tech but that just makes not only spread faster but the shifts faster within that spread culture as well.
