If god created the universe (which is currently the most safest and reasonable theory we have at the moment.) with angels included and from those angels descended demons and evil spirits then it's logical to assume that demons wouldn't strictly be contained the the planet earth. If we apply occams razor to this model the easiest explanation is that demons are composed of a unique demonic energy (perhaps similar to dark energy, dark matter, antimatter, phantom energy etc.) and in gods foresight he created black holes specifically to absorb this demonic energy preventing it from reaching the earth and leading to humanity's fall from grace, this is why I'm particularly against space exploration and find the rush of scientists in suddenly wanting to explore the universe naive and even mysteriously questionable.
