not sure about the 4th exercise... are you supposed to factor out the x^3? then you aliminate one x^3 at the top while you introduce one x^-3 at the bottom. it does reduce the x^6 to x^3 so I guess that's something.

this is actually a really easy test if it really is for a university, or is it for college (preuniversity) ?

however for 1869 that is actually pretty advanced stuff i guess

I was going to apply to MIT for grad school but there was a whole page on diversity bullshit on the application, e.g. asking me questions about my gender (there were like a dozen options), so I dropped it and applied to real schools like Cal Tech. How did such an old and prestigious school become such trash, subject to modern day political bullshit?

Most schools didn't have that and the professor I've been doing research with at my undergraduate school already offered to take me as a graduate. I was just looking around for other options. and MIT looked like shit based on what I saw.

which is the same as {1 + (a-b)^2/(a+b)^2} / {1 - (a-b)^2/(a+b)^2}
