What kind of functions look convex on a logarithmic scale? i.e. they decrease faster than the logarithm? Apparently all reciprocal functions exhibit this behavior: 1/x, 1/(sqrt(x) or even 1/(x^2). Their shapes on a logarithmic scale will be exactly the same, apart from a scaling factor. Why is that? Give me a hint.
