We have population distribution. This is the real, true distribution. Note that 'population' doesn't refer to people here. Fot instance, your beta coefficient estimate also has a true population distribution.
We can't really get our hands on the whole population so we study a sample. We combine the information contained in samples into useful numbers called statistics.
Hypothesis testing is the procedure to estimate how likely it was for us to observe such a statistic assuming that the true population had a specific parameter value.
This could be applied to anything, in particular to your beta coefficient. The null is b=0, the alternative is b!=0. The associated t-statistic is just b/se(b) where se is the standard error. This gives us a p-value. The p-value is the probability of observing a t-statistic this extreme assuming that the true b=0 (our b is just an estimate, remember sampling vs population).
So, to get a t-stat, you divide b by se(b) (both are given to you, standard errors are in parentheses) and then calculate the p-value from the t-distribution with the appropriate number of degrees of freedom.
Mate, the best advice you will get is learning how to deal with such problems yourself, because believe me you will face much more significant hardships in your life.
Not knowing statistics is fine. Not knowing how to look for information (and also failing wrt discipline and planning) is not fine.
