Women use their feet to selectively attract mates, they do so by pointing them to make them more appealing or even showing their soles. This works because a strictly utilitarian use of feet is usually to keep them flat on the ground which is much less attractive than other configurations. This is a very suitable attraction strategy because feet are almost always acceptable to display and using that method gives them total plausible deniability. In other words females can use their feet to attract a target without unambiguously revealing what they have in mind.
So therefore there are two kinds of males, those who are receptive to such signals and go for it, hence the evolutionary advantage, and those who don't respond to feet and miss the signal completely and end up not getting laid because they didn't get a semi from seeing a girl who likes them seduce them with her feet. If anything isn't right it's women who broadcast their feet, like wearing high heels all the time (the purpose of high heels being to put the ankles at an attractive angle at all times so that all receptive males would feel more attracted) and other foot harlotry designed to cast a wide net.
