The science behind masturbation

I don't understand how people can label masturbation as "natural". If you break it down piece by piece, you are sitting behind a screen, looking at moving images of two people fucking, and you are artificially causing yourself to orgasm. There is nothing natural about that.

Now, just thinking about how the brain and body adapt to your environment, by masturbating, you are tricking your brain into thinking you have found a mate. Would it not make sense for the brain to give less priority to maintaining sexual functionality (such as lowering the amount of testosterone available to the body, releasing prolactin to allow the body to relax, etc.)? Looking less at the psychological problems formed by pornography in general, would it not be safe to assume that frequent masturbation during your early teen and adolescent years could have an effect on a) the size of your dick due to lower testosterone levels, b) your ability to build muscle during this time period or c) the development of your hair, in other words, early onset hair loss due to raised prolactin levels?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel that masturbation, because of these things, can stunt your body's normal sexual development during these earlier years in life. Porn and masturbation are already beginning to be recognized as major problems by certain groups of people, but I think generally speaking, the implications on hormones, normal sexual development, etc. are being largely ignored. What is your opinion on this?
