As far as choosing between physics or one of the engineering fields, physics is far more interesting because all of the engineering fields are split up at the undergrad level. How many people are simply passionate about electronics without any interest in any other aspect of engineering? Most people who are passionate about engineering are people who want to build things, not merely one lousy piece of the invention. Engineering feels like its simply split up this way so that Me Sheckleberg can get his little slaves just how he wants them after graduation. And its just ridiculous that CS is out of the math department, having its own major is so stupid.
