Ocean acidification is almost laughable in marine ecology because you have to stretch the treatments to >0.5 pH unit reduction to even get a significant response from most calcifying organisms.
Mind you, the most drastic change in pH predicted by the IPCC (2013) is a pH reduction of 3-4 units, and that is in the RCP8.5 scenario (or worst case scenario put forth).
Even significant results obtained have been altered by scientists to seem more drastic than they actually are (coral biologists have been shown to report inaccurate data and only revise results once called out).
Climate change may be happening, but be skeptical of the the science and claims about it, because there's a lot of bullshit out there currently, for the purpose of obtaining government funding to keep their careers afloat.
