Hey frustrated anon here who recently failed English 101. I want to be a mathematician. The reason I failed English is because the teacher (who's not even from my own country) decided it would be best to write about food documentaries.

Anyone else feel that English is bullshit Political Science? In fact, I have strong evidence that I didn't learn a damn thing that semester. Pic unrelated

In other words college is there to tell you not to think. I scored 189 on the accuplacer for reading. Pretty sure a near perfect score out of /200 qualifies me to test out of "English".

Here's the secret of essay writing, OP. You need 5 paragraphs; an introduction, 3 body paragraphs, and a conclusion, with each paragraph being at least 4 sentences long. The introduction just introduces your main thesis and what you will be discussing in the body. For example; “SUBJECT has a long and turbulent history. SUBJECT has caused things to happen. Scientists are supposed to be nonbiased when communicating. The public is left to interpret it.
