Then when med school is finally over you are on your own to deal with somewhat who is often miles away from textbook examples and you have to somewhat make a decent call.
General physiology is pretty basic and interesting anyway, I doubt he would have been able to understand let alone explain much if it was the chapter of an EKG book.
