About 12% of quantum physicists polled at a conference selected the many-worlds hypothesis as their prefered quantum interpretation, out of about a dozen options.
The most preferred interpretation was Copenhagen, by a wide margin.

The universe by definition must absolutely continue to diverge into an infinite number of universes. Many worlds and inflationary universes would 100% agree with the fact that there are a large amount ( uncountably infinite ) number of universes which are diverging infinitely.

Assuming that "a" universe is expanding, it has to divide to conserve the energy that it was supplied during its big bang. For example, a universe which would expand faster than the speed of light could not continue to expand without dividing, even with no discernable difference being made in each split timeline/dimension/universe.
