I didn't do too hot on my bio 101 final either, since I was a lazy freshman who had never learned how to study bc high school is a joke. After applying myself and keeping up with the material along the way I'm at the top of my 400 level neuro and biochem classes, usually only miss one or two questions. You won't be able to get your shit together and start studying properly if you aren't motivated though. It's important to think long term about what your potential is and what you want to contribute to the world.
