A term paper will do nothing useful for you, it is just the result of a lazy system of professors who don't really care so they just make you write a massive paper and then they don't even read it and give you an arbitrary grade based on your appearance, for example if you're an Asian and a tryhard they will give you a better grade without reading your paper at all.
