So here's a stupid question, /sci/bros:

Recently, I purchased a statue of a Buddhist figure from ebay. According to the seller's information, it's made of brass, and it's age is listed as "post-1940", and originating from China. The only other relevant information from the seller is as follows: "It is in good condition, and was created by skilled craftsmen in [the] traditional style with fine handcrafts."

Now my concern is: should I be worried about any lead in the statute? I read that some older brass works, lead was sometimes added to them. Is this something I should be worried about?

I didn't even buy the thing for my home: I purchased it to put it in my office, most likely in my bookcase or some corner of my desk. I just became paranoid because of reading about things like lead poisoning. Is there a likelihood of me being exposed to lead from this statue? Obviously, I'm not gonna put it in my mouth, but I am wondering if just touching it or having in the same room is enough to cause me harm.
