I agree with you that natural systems are great but I also don't like this general idea that because humans are able to make math equations to represent things like fibonacci sequence in nature, that it becomes some secret universal truth mankind has uncovered. And it is extrapolated to other fields to justify billions of funding in research that leads nowhere under the guise of finding the secret formula to efficiency in the swirl of a snail shell.
