technically all this shows is that x=1 is not a solution.

however, you're right that this question has no solution, as shown by the desmos i just made pic related. i think you might be able to use the intermediate value theorem to show that the lines never intersect if they have the same slope x, but i also might just be making shit up

Infinity isn't a number
infinity+1 is invalid because infinity already assumes +1 inherently so you can't add numbers to infinity since it's already the largest "number" which doesn't exist. You can't add to infinity, if you want to be wrong keep talking.

It is because you forgot to add the dark matter on the right side of the equation.
If you do it, you obtain:
x+"26"=26+x

The equation is always true and x can be any number.
