When it's said that dinosaur bones are hollow what is actually meant by that? Image here is a mammal, bird, and two dinosaur Fossil, with one of the fossils claiming to have collagen. Can someone explain this to me?

Clearly from the fossils presented they are not hollow in the same way a birds bone is. Why do they call it hollow?

the strength of muscles grows proportionally to their cross-area (x^2)

at a certain point/size it becomes impossible for an organism to carry its own weight

bones themselves constitute a large part of weight, so them being hollow would allow certain dinos to be able to "walk" (?)

Those dinosaur bones that are "hollow" have large undivided medullary cavities that typically would have been largely filled with air spaces (i.e., pneumatic diverticula off the respiratory system. However, most dinosaurs had smaller or absent medullary cavities wtih the spaces filled by marrow. AS for collagen, it was in the bone tissue making up the compact or spongy parts of the bone.

Mammal bones have that kind of structure as also seen in the top left image. They are far more spongy while bird bones typically have large non uniform structure with large cavities.
The problem is saying these dinosaur bones with hollow like birds seems like a huge simplification on the point of being just wrong.
