>>11208322Let's look at the actual science of climate change
- Carbon previously captured over time is being re-released into the atmosphere for fossil fuels.
- Human society has advanced massively in technology, even exponentially, because of industrialization.
Now. You can look at solutions. The SOLUTION part of the system is variable. There is not one solution. Also prediction is incredibly hard.
- Reduce the economy of these population-expanded societies so as to reduce resource usage.
- Reduce Excess wasteful usages such as yachts, luxury spending, exponential growing tax on bigger homes, etc.
- Reduce required by society usages such as gasoline taxes or stricter building codes to increase home prices on everyone
- Use Geo-engineering to cool the earth such as is ridiculously cheap and feasible with sulfur injections.
- Use Carbon Capture strategies
- Go to nuclear power increasingly
- Fusion power
- Renewable Myth - have to revolutionize energy storage to make renewable work.
etc
Now tell me, do you want to join the party that wants as much economic slowdown as possible to solve the problem? Or would you much rather be on track for the other solutions that don't involve massive human suffering?
