Pretty stupid question from a guy who's job is water chemistry. But I just moved into a house with a Well, and the water kind of tastes weird. So I brought sample in to work with me. There's no biological build up, pH is 7.4 , I can't test.for sulfite alkalinity and molybdenum was zero. But my big thing was, I expected the water to be hard, but it wasn't as the water softener must be working, but I can't explain the odd "thick" taste to it. The only number I got that was very weird was conductivity, 1794 micro Siemens. Which is approaching the levels out boilers operate at. Is this an issue and how do I alleviate it.
