>Supply and demand. Muscle either disappears or grows depending on weight loads present, at same time decreasing/increasing caloric requirements accordingly. Adaptability.
>Repair. Muscles, ligaments, tendons, bones, and other supporting structures can regenerate after damage, and stronger.
>Lubrication. Joints and inter-muscular pockets are lubricated to reduce frictional wear and preserve the joints longer.
>Systemic awareness. Inner ear and rest of nervous system used for the determination of three-dimensional orientation, velocity, acceleration, weight loads, and positioning. Cerebellum operates on a "lower-level" to translate intentional thoughts into coordinated motor actions.
>Precision actions. Can modify speed of muscular contractions, amount of fibers used(strength), can determine degree of contraction(Full extension/compression), stabilization via antagonistic and synergistic muscles.
