fa/tg/uy here, looking for some guidance on dice probabilities

>in PBTA you roll 2d6 to make a check, +10 is a success, 7-9 is a success with complications, 1-6 is a failure
>I want to amplify the mechanic a bit by having three tiers of dice pools, all targeting one flat range of outcomes.
>each tier has different value dice thus different odds of reaching the higher end outcomes
I have mapped out various dice probabilities using sets of similar and dissimilar dice, all targeting the 7-9/10+ range. My eyes are glazing over as my autism is only really geared towards rpg design and not spreadsheets of probability tables.
Any tips, ideas, or things I should be looking for when trying to figure out what value range and what sets of dice to use?
To note, using 2d6. To hit 7+ is a 58.33% chance, and to hit a 10+ is a 16.67% chance. I am not wedded to the 1-12 (2d6) range, I am thinking of going higher as a first step.
