>>11203746Are you lecturing the course, or running a discussion section? If the latter I wouldn't sweat it. Your primary purpose should be to review stuff they already saw and answer questions.
Rambling is really common when you're starting out because the topic is so elementary but you know all these little subtleties and nuances that you feel like you have to address to be completely accurate. Also the little subtleties are the interesting bits... to us anyway, but not for the undergrads who are barely half sober or awake. Best thing you can do is tell them upfront about being open to any and all questions so that you give off a friendly and approachable vibe.
