Preposterous. The Brahman is equivalent to God, as it is the ultimate reality and supreme being. Just because it is not similar to the degenerate popular American Judeochristian conception of God, it doesn't mean its not referring to the same entity that all other actual religions refer to: pure being and source of existence and consciousness.
