Think about it. Suppress for a moment whatever dogma you have about the brain-mind relationship. Think about your life, the only life you've lived. There, they told you about matter, and you experienced matter. What is matter, but an abstracion of experience? Then again, own experience is not material. You cannot prove that your mind is material. You can, in some cases, prove that your mind changes as a consequence of a change in your brain, yes. If you read what I wrote correctly and are intellectually honest, you will realize that this proof does not make experience material.
