A honest to goodness question. In theory your cells can only divide so many times before they just stop and you slowly age and die due to organ failure in the best of cases. My question is in theory if you have a job that say rub an area of your right arm raw to the point where it kinda goo over with fluids to heal then do that mean that given area on your right arm will "die sooner" than the rest of you due to the nonstop healing required? Like could someone honestly be shortening their lifespan due to making one given area of their body weaker than the rest like such? Like you can live without a limb but what if it was your chest or something of that nature? I'm wishfully thinking the necessary cells can divide and "aim" for spots as necessary kinda like white blood cells but honestly I don't know the answer and it been bugging me much more than it should.
