Sorry /sci/; I no longer believe in you with the same fortitude I once did. It only makes sense if I believe that science is just the form of magic humanity created to respect the intelligence that stabilizes the otherwise unruly forces of nature. I'll try to find a form of magic that does make sense to you, but it won't look anything like you expect it to. The realm of the imagined is infinite, and it won't be contained by logic, no matter how self-consistent. You are so far off course from trying to understand the true epistemology of the world that it's going to get us all killed—or worse.
Don't bother trying to create a hypothesis surrounding magic; it's not in the realm of falsifiability to begin with. I will predict the nature of its return to our world out of respect for your intelligence and the effort you have put into your beliefs since the invention of scientific history, but I do this as a ritual, not a rite. There is more to this world than you're ready to see, and the moment you start to reconsider the notion of full-form imagine-your-socks-off magic, the sooner you'll realize it.
