just because an average econ paper uses a fuckton of math for their modelling, does not mean the models are empirically sound, or that anything remotely resembling science is going on. Sociology uses statistical models and analyses a lot, doesn't make that field any more "scientific" regardless of what brainlets may otherwise claim.
