From my chemical tests it's definitely an alcohol. Do you mean this form of hydrazine?

I think it may be 2-methylbut-3-yn-2-ol but i'm not too sure. Have you got any other spectroscopic data like the C-13 NMR or IR spectroscopy?

Unfortunately not. It was just a series of chemical tests, a melting point of a derivative (which no one obtained because the samples got shat on by our tests) and then the NMR presented. Here is a list of possibilities though:
