It could be that they have been conditioned to think they are good at art.
During middle and high school, it was always the girls that would stylize their handwriting and go overboard with style when making powerpoints or posters for class.
They would get complimented and receive maximum effort points while most guys did the bare minimum.
It could also be that much of what girls value is art related.
