Soon will have my degree in Chemistry, got thinking a bit

Go into research you'll sell your soul and and not earn anything worth bragging about.

Go into industry you become a wage slave, never be able to call yourself your own man.

Create a start-up you'll just be acquired by a larger company, or at worst just go bakrupt.

Is there anyway you'll be satisfied by going into STEM?
