Also the reason people believe they can predict stuff paranormally, either through dreams or through psychic abilities while awake, is mostly explained by how people tend to only make a big deal out of the times the results match what they were thinking earlier while ignoring the many times the results didn't match what they were thinking earlier.
Any time any people like this are subjected to proper controlled conditions and forced to actually write down their predictions in advance it becomes clear they aren't good at predicting anything.
