But it's not superheated, it's just by chance that you would see some light around if you have some lone stars being eaten by a black hole in fast rotation and nothing just around except in the rare case a black hole is eating a very big star and there are, around, smaller stars emitting lower amounts of light

When stars erupt from black holes, there can be overheating before balancing : the star is overheating because it's a bit supercritical at the beginning (that's very likely to happen, the question being by how much), then dilatation so losses of matter until back to equilibrium = nuclear criticity)
