you cant possibly think there is no afterlife right? why would it not be rational to think that we are in a "dream" of a more abstract general conscious object on a higher plane?

Why would this imply an afterlife? The people in my dreams don't get an afterlife.

Also, when a Baby emerges into self consciousness and realizes it is a mind in the manifold of reality with other minds, you could view that as a higher realization of reality and thus an "after life" in a sense.

Our world mind evolved past religion as well, for example, We now realize where religion stops and science starts. We view reality differently then we did in the past, and it was "revealed", in the Hegelian sense, that the world and concept is the same thing. there is no "other" that science cant explain in this natural world.

there is no empirical evidence, but there is rational reasons to think experience dosent "stop". Its entirely possible at death, personal experience can be revealed to be part of a greater being, just as a Baby realizes what reality is, etc

there is no empirical evidence, but there is rational reasons to think experience dosent "stop". Its entirely possible and reasonable that at death, personal experience can be revealed to be part of a greater being, just as a Baby realizes what reality is in greater understanding, and how a mind sees the intelligibility of physics in its entirety etc
