>peanutsAre they salted? Get that shit away from you. Salt is like crack. There’s an interesting book called salt sugar and fat that explains how these elements override our rationality. Remember food companies want your money. They want you to eat as much as possible as fast as possible so you buy more. Remember: natural foods. What I do is buy unsalted unroasted nuts. They're less moreish so you only eat a few at a time. You can have salty foods sometimes but only as a treat, not as daily fair.
Also it’s not just about calories. Eat mostly natural foods: Fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, legumes, and unrefined grains (think whole oats).
