Should you only ejaculate to impregnate a woman? Regenerating sperm taxes a toll on the body, why is is encouraged to do it multiple times a week?

Men sometimes die while they are in the process of sexual intercourse, but that's the same as dying while doing any exercise or intensive physical labor, I suppose.
