How to get better at analysis?

Currently working with baby rudin and I find the practice problems difficult, as well as the mitocw problem sets. Should I go with a softer text?

Switch between books, if you find them too difficult - don't stall. Try Apostol or Abbot. You'll learn eventually.

Live longer and comparison in data makes more sense. Assuming a career is measured in decades is a bit pedantic. Try centuries on for size.

Don't think of them as 'practice problems', they are problems that extend what was done in the main body of the text. Technically, you could just ignore all of them and get through the core of the book just fine, but they're there so you can get better at proofs and understand more about the subject yourself. I'd advise you to attempt as many problems as you can at the end of a chapter, skip anything you can't do, and just come back later when you fee like having more of a crack at them. It's honestly better that way, since you can more easily cement your long term understanding by continually revisiting earlier chapters.
