Personally, I think it's pseudoscience. The people who promote it are heavy into gnostic or hermetic mystism. I don't know which one they follow specifically, but it's something like those two.
On the other hand, the standard model has predictions of what it might look like if it were completed, but as it stands we still have to calculate certain things that should/could be concrete. Physics in general is going through the beginings of what I believe is a scientific renaissance.
